Lessons are 2-3-hour long covering different topics of the curriculum. Led by experienced instructors on board a sailboat or in a classroom.
Lessons schedule:

SKIPPER

BECOME A DAY-SAIL SKIPPER
This course reviews sailing from the skipper's perspective and teaches you everything you need to know in order to be able to take a 25'-55' sailboat on a day sail in the harbor. This course includes a Maneuvering Under Power Clinic. This course is required in order to get Bareboat Charter Master and can be purchased as part of the Bareboat Charter Master Package - see below.

COASTAL NAVIGATION
PLOTTING & PILOTING
Introduction of maritime cartography, review of nautical charts and navigation tools, plotting and piloting considering currents, tides and leeways. This endorsement is required in order to get Bareboat Charter Master and can be purchased as part of the Bareboat Charter Master Bundle - see below.

MASTER BAREBOATING
PLAN AND CAPTAIN A CHARTER ON YOUR OWN
Chartering a boat is very enjoyable and this course will provide you with knowledge and tips that are essential to make your sailing vacation a success for both you and your crew. Learn about: planning your route and plot your course, order provisions, arriving and checking out the boat, safety instruction to your crew before getting underway and a lot more. This course bundle includes 6 different courses including: Skipper, Maneuvering Under Power, Bareboat Charter, Coastal Navigation, Anchoring a Sailboat and Electronic Navigation.

INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION

Sailors NYC is offering you the option to obtain the NauticEd SLC which is an international sailing license that is accepted in countries where there is a legal requirement to hold an ICC (International Certificate of Competence) certification or the American equivalent which is the SLC (International Sailing License and Credentials).
